About Patricius

Patricius is build in the year 1861 by a rich Patricier (merchant). Later the house was sold to the church nearby and a priest lived there with his housemade. The authentic details such as the ornament ceilings and original tiles on the floor in the hot-house are well saved.

The village Oostwoud is a village in the community Medemblik, in the Dutch county North-Holland. The village has 915 inhabitants. The village name translated in English is Eastwood, because of the fact that the village lay next to a forest at the easter side. On the 3rd of June 1710 a big part of the village was burned down – by a criminal-.

Patricius is found in the old center of Oostwoud with classic vowels surrounded by beautifull old farmes.
